This Madness Has to Stop
Going round and around. Looking at the same Home Business opportunities. Reading the same marketing
materials. Getting offered the same e-books - in there hundreds - that profess to have the "hidden secret"
to unlimited wealth and happiness.
You can find work at home products to sell in there thousands. Affiliate programs in there 10's of
Thousands. All telling you the same thing - buy me, get rich - sell me, get richer.
Some of them must work, right?
Everyone is making lots of money on the Internet - right?
So, you buy a product or "system and/or sign up as an affiliate. Great. What now you ask yourself? Well,
you have to get people to buy. That can't be hard, can it?
All you have to do is get people to go to your affiliate URL or web page and you will be smiling all
the way to the bank.
So, you do some research and find that you can advertise free in on literally 100's of websites. This is
going to make you a fortune. You write your ad and place it on all these Free For All (FFA) websites and free
classifieds. All you have to do now is wait for the money to come in.
But the money doesn't come in.
So, you do more research and find that you can pay a fee and get your ad sent out to 1000's of hungry
targeted buyers through paid to read email and paid to click sites. So you do that and wait for the
money to come in.
But the money still doesn't come in.
You read that AdWords is the place to advertise you Home Business so you open a Google account and
start an AdWords campaign. You use the right tools to get all the Home Business and Work at Home keywords
and build a nice long list. You create several perfect ads that will bring in floods of buyers and
you start your campaign.
But hold on a second, Google is telling you that you can't activate some (most?) of those keywords
unless you up the minimum bid to at least $1.00 per click. So you remove them, as you only want to pay $0.10 at most.
You then press the "estimate traffic" button and Google tells you that for your $10.00 a day budget you are
going to get 1 or 2 clicks and your estimate ad position is someplace in never-never land (as in your ad
will never-never get clicked).
You decide to up your bid to $1.00 as you know that once people start clicking you will make money and your
click-thru rate will eventually be high enough to reduce you cost per click and get you higher in the rankings.
A month later you have spent $500 on advertising and you have made exactly $33.00 from the 75% affiliate
fee of the ClickBank product you are affiliated with.
This Internet thing sucks - all those people making money are liars and cheats.
But, you then find out that you really need your own web page so you can get an opt-in email list - that
is where the real money is. You wish someone had told you 6 weeks ago.
So, you buy a domain name like www.I-Really-Really-Know-What-I-Am-Doing.com and subscribe to a auto-responder
for $30 a month. You setup your auto-responder with a series of great emails telling your prospective buyers how
good the product is and how much money they are going to make. You create a squeeze page that is so effective
it will definitely make everyone want to sign-up to see what you are offering.
Great. All you need to do now is get people to your web page. Hang on a minute. You have been here before.
Where the hell are you going to your opt-in email subscribers from?
You can continue to run your AdWords campaign - but the thought of losing another $500 is troubling so that is out.
You can try the FFA and classifieds again but you realize that just isn't going to work.
You find the answer. You can use other people's opt-in lists. For $70 bucks you can get your ad in front
of 1000's of targeted buyers (the ad says). This is the answer you have been waiting for. You decide to go for
it big time. You splash out and buy 100,000 targeted buyers for $350, then sit back and wait for the traffic
to start coming.
It doesn't. You don’t sell anything and your own list has yourself, your wife and next doors cat in it.
Someone forgot to mention that all the subscribers to the opt-in list you just emailed are really just trying
to sell their own products - they didn't read your offer and if they did why would they need your product - they
can set themselves up as an affiliate and get it at 75% discount!
It's at this time you begin to think of sending SPAM. It can't be that bad can it? Will my ISP really shut me down?
Yes they will. There has to be a better way. You are in a hole for way over $1000 and you need to do something. You
search and this time you do find the answer.
It’s really very simple. Let someone else, an expert, give you a product and then sell it for you. You really don’t
want to do this Internet thing; you just want to make money.
So you join a program (let’s say PAS for example). You just need to pay them $4000 up front and then a couple of
hundred every month and you don’t need to do a damn thing. So, that’s what you do. Now, the money will really
start flowing in.
Jump forward three months.
Are you sitting in that big house, red Ferrari out front, sipping a cool margarita besides your pool?
Hell no, you are wondering how to get your money back, how to pay the credit card bill and how your are going
to put up with that rat faced, idiot of a boss for one more week.
This madness has to stop.
